I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes at the buffet and on the menu were fantastic. Secondly, the location of the hotel was perfect as it was close to everything I needed, including the nearby provincial park. Lastly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing great service throughout my stay.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and I didn't encounter any issues.

Northern Lakes College was located in the near vicinity. We truly enjoyed to have evening drinks at The Ridge Tap House, based nearby. 10 minutes' ride to the airport. Do recommend for everyone.

We were disappointed in the misleading advertising of the "deluxe queen room" - there was no queen-sized bed, only a double or two twins. The bed itself was comfortable. The tv was small and the remote didn't work very well. There was a missing lightbulb in the fixture over the sink outside the bathroom. The shower had good pressure though and the breakfast buffet was very good. After the first night, our keys didn't work and had to be reissued.
I didn't like the misleading advertising about the room and bed size.

Nothing
Celing leaked into room. Shower had 2 options, hot or cold. Beds were uncomfortable. Movie prices outrageous. Could plug in a game system due to tv being rigged not to.

The staff were very good - professional, efficient and friendly. A pet friendly hotel and no charge made for the pet.
Quality of the room furnishings and overall comfort were below expectations. The hotel in this location did not meet expectations or standards as others in the group. There was not a good smell in our room,a nd although we were on a non smoking floor/in a non smoking room, the smell of cigarettes was still strong. This is a hotel clearly geared towards housing work staff from the oil patch and other contractor for example, as a result it felt as though comfort and standards of accommodations for other user groups had been compromised. Slightly over priced for the quality of accommodation.

The city break at this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The price was reasonable, and the free hot breakfast with bacon and sausage was a nice touch. The hotel is also smoker-friendly. the key location with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities was convenient to me.
That the hotel is quite old, so the Wi-Fi was weak. The decor showed wear and tear with some stains on the walls and floors, showing a need for some updates and maintenance.
